The pine valley chapel is still used for services and is the oldest mormon chapel still in continuous use. The chapel was completed in 1868. It was built by scottish immigrant and shipbuilder, ebenezer bryce. In 1998, a replica of the meetinghouse was built and is found at this is the place heritage park.
