We were in the pine valley unit (30). Son and i got drawn and a friend who has a cabin in the pine valley area said it was a good place to go because he sees deer all the time. 2020 north slope, bare top. Any advice for areas to scout would be greatly appreciated.

From september through december, this unit receives an average of 1.05 inches of precipitation a month and the heaviest rainfall is in november.
