That said i have more than one season under my belt already that just didn't produce even one good buck sighting. Mojave desert, great basin, and colorado plateau. Ice and snow that remained from last winter’s heavy snowfall have led to the confirmed deaths of a total of 120 mule deer in recent weeks, according to state wildlife officials. Son and i got drawn and a friend who has a cabin in the pine valley area said it was a good place to go because he sees deer all the time.
I'm hoping to do a scouting trip in early july so i can get a lay of the land.
